- 2 Cups Chopped Leftover Turkey
- 1 Cup Diced Fuji Apple
- ½ Cup Diced Onion
- 1 Cup Diced Celery
- ¼ Cup Dried Cranberries
- 2 Tablespoon Butter
- 3 Tablespoons Flour
- ½ Teaspoon Thyme
- 1 Bay Leaf
- ¼ Cup White wine
- 4 Cups Turkey stock
- 1/8 Teaspoon Five spice
- Salt and Pepper to Taste
In a large pot, let the butter melt over medium – high heat, then mix in the flour.
Let that cook for a minute, until it starts to bubble.
Whisk in the wine and stock. Let that thicken up then add everything else. Bring to a boil then lower to a simmer, cover, and let that cook for at least 10 minutes, until the veggies are tender.
Taste and season with salt and pepper if needed. Serve over mashed potatoes or with biscuits.
